Direct a play in 2015-2016, our 87th season

Come share your vision at the Guild.

The Bellingham Theatre Guild's Production Committee is seeking submissions for our 87th Season. The Committee welcomes both veterans and newcomers to the Guild to propose engaging works to be produced by What County's longest-running theatrical company during the 2015-2016 season.

Download play submission form and submit by January 6, 2015, along with a copy of the script.

We want shows that directors are passionate about and that will resonate with our audiences. A typical season might look like the following: Open with a well-known title or author, often a comedy; from just after Thanksgiving to mid-December, a show reflecting the holiday spirit; then, a comedy or farce in the first part of the new year; a drama in early spring; and last, a big musical to end the season. However, we often put musicals in the holiday or winter slot and big comedies can find a home at any time of year. There are no limitations - a good submission is a great play backed by a dedicated and enthusiastic director. You can check the Guild Website to find a list of shows produced over the years.

Please feel free to submit up to 3 shows, and please make sure you have attached a separate submission form for each selection. Here is what you need for your submission to be complete:
- A play submission form, completely filled out.
- At least one copy of the script. (more than one helps speed the selection process)

Mail or drop off all the above items before the deadline of January 6, 2015, to the Bellingham Theatre Guild, 1600 H Street, Bellingham, WA 98225, clearly marked Attn: Play Selection Team. Please ensure that all submissions are sealed to keep the selection process confidential.

The Play Selection Team will make the final selections in early 2015. If you have any questions, please email the committee at vp-production@bellinghamtheatreguild.com.
