The Santaland Diaries – part of the Lend Us Your Ears Reading Series

December 2, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Bellingham Theatre Guild, 1600 H Street
Bellingham, WA 98225 United States

Join BTG for a "Lend Us Your Ears" performance of this popular holiday play.

The Santaland Diaries
by David Sedaris
December 2, 2017 | 2:00 pm

This reading is "Pay-What-You-Will" at the door | No tickets/reservations necessary

This performance features local actor and filmmaker Eliott Glasser performing Sedaris’ hilarious and cynical journey as an adult elf at Macy’s during the height of the busiest holiday shopping season of the year. One of the most produced plays in the United States this century, Sedaris’ essay (adapted for the stage by Joe Mantello) makes its Bellingham debut in a staged reading directed by Sean Walbeck.

The Santaland Diaries contains adult language and situations and is not suitable for children or adult audience members who still believe in Santa.

Lend Us Your Ears (with the mission: Good Plays Read Well) produces matinee readings with local actors in front of the curtains, with general admission seating and the audience choosing what it wants to pay.
