An exciting new collaboration, forged from Bellingham Theatre Guild traditions and New Prospect Theatre’s small-production ethos, BTG Satellites creates more artistic and theatrical opportunities for local audiences to enjoy at the New Prospect Theatre’s Lucas Hicks Stage.

THE MISS FIRECRACKER CONTEST – a play reading

The place is the small Mississippi town of Brookhaven, the time a few days before the Fourth of July. Carnelle Scott (known locally as “Miss Hot Tamale”) is rehearsing furiously for the Miss Firecracker Contest—hoping that a victory will salvage her tarnished reputation and allow her to leave town in a blaze of glory.
 

 
THE ADVENTURES OF SHERLOCK HOLMES: Two Old Time Radio Shows – LIVE!

A LIVE radio show reading of two Sherlock Holmes cases, complete with foley sound effects! Join the famous detective and use your best sleuthing ability! Appropriate for all ages.
 

 
MORE LASTING THAN BRONZE

An award-winning play by local playwright Lillian Furlong, More Lasting Than Bronze is a sapphic retelling of the myth of Artemis and Orion. Inspired by the playwright’s love of mythology and storytelling, it explores love, sacrifice, and what it means to be human.

THE ILIAD, THE ODYSSEY AND ALL OF GREEK MYTHOLOGY IN 99 MINUTES OR LESS
directed by Allissa Flood
November 21-24, 2024 (Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:30 pm, Sundays at 2:00 pm)
On a simple stage, with the clock ticking in front of everyone’s eyes, the cast speeds through all of Greek Mythology. It’s funny, updated, and made easy to understand.
