War rages far, far away. A father and his servant wait for his three sons to return from fighting. As the household slowly reunites, an unexpected visitor wielding a gun enters their lives and home. The balance of power shifts, and everyone scrambles to find something new. For what was, can no longer be.
Phoebe in Winter feels like a parable, or adjacent to a Brothers Grimm fable. Timeless and relevant, this play seeks to highlight both the worst, and the best, that people have to offer when everything falls apart.
Phoebe in Winter will be performed at The New Prospect Theatre, 207 Prospect St., Bellingham.
