BTG Satellites presents 5 Micro Plays Near the End and Building Self-Esteem: Two Plays by Sean Walbeck
March 19 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Bellingham Theatre Guild SATELLITES presents 5 Micro Plays Near the End and Building Self-Esteem: Two Plays by Sean Walbeck at the New Prospect Theatre on March 19 and 20 at 7:30 pm. 5 Micro Plays Near the End focuses on that funny little thing called death and what happens on either side of it, whether it’s retirement home proms, water park mischief, hospital game play, communicating a final memory, or learning how to eulogize. Local playwright Sean Walbeck plums the depths in tight little vignettes, from the ridiculous to the sublime. In Building Self-Esteem, a fraught librarian risks psychological help from a dodgy internet website with unexpected and challenging results. This play is a rollicking joyride of personal growth and torment that puts the epi-pen in epiphanies. Walbeck’s short plays are directed by award-winning director Shawn Fuller, performed by talented local actors, and contain adult language and situations. Tickets are $15 (or 2 for $25 if you also attend The War of the Worlds radio play later that weekend) and are available at the New Prospect Theatre website: https://newprospecttheatre.org.
