“The Lifespan of a Fact,” a play reading

December 3, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm

“The Lifespan of a Fact” gets a Bellingham Theatre Guild reading December 3, at 2:00 pm. This is a Pay-What-You-Will event; no tickets are necessary.

LEND US YOUR EARS, The Bellingham Theatre Guild’s Pay-What-You-Will play-reading series, presents the popular dramatic adaptation of the best-selling book The Lifespan of a Fact. The popular play based on John D’Agata and Jim Fingal’s groundbreaking book will be read on December 3, 2022, at 2:00 pm.

The Pay-What-You-Will performance, directed by Woody Ciskowski, follows the comedically tumultuous effects when a fact-checker challenges the truth of an essayist’s most acclaimed work. Based on a true story, the dramatic adaptation, by playwrights Jeremy Karaken, David Murrell, and Gordon Farrell, played successfully off-Broadway with Daniel Radcliffe and in professional theaters across the country. Currently listed as one of American Theatre’s Most Produced Plays this season, The Lifespan of a Fact will be performed in this single reading by skilled local actors Tim Albertson, Suzie Clarke, Ron Warner, and Carmen Sterk, and contains adult languages and situations.

LEND US YOUR EARS (with the mission: Good Plays Read Well) produces matinee readings with local actors in front of the curtains, with general admission seating and the audience choosing what it wants to pay. No reservations necessary and any questions can be directed to LUYE Artistic Director, Sean Walbeck (sean@gigglewax.com, 360-647-9242).

“THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection (www.dramatists.com)”
