April 8, 2024 -Auditions: Pippin
Auditions: Pippin
The Bellingham Theatre Guild is excited to announce auditions for the final show of our season:
Pippin
By Stephen Schwartz
Auditions: April 7 and 8, 2024 at 7:00 pm
Performances: June 14 - 30, 2024
Director: Michelle Kriz
Pippin is the musical story of one man's journey to be extraordinary. Winner of four 2013 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival, this updated circus-inspired version of Pippin relates the tale of the heir to the Frankish throne, young prince Pippin, and search for happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, pleasures of the flesh, and the intrigues of political power. Ultimately he finds, happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day.
We are looking for 3-4 adult women, 4-5 men ages 6 - 60, as well as chorus members.
Call-backs, if needed will be held April 9 at 7pm. Auditioners will be asked to sing 16-32 measures of a Broadway show tune and be prepared for a short group dance audition. Please dress for movement. We highly encourage talented individuals of any race, age, body type, and gender presentation to audition! We are especially seeking actors with acrobatic/circus performance experience, as well as an actor who can play the part of a young boy.
This play is directed by Michelle Kriz. For more information, email info@bellinghamtheatreguild.com

Karen and Gabe, food critics, are steadfast and ready to “grow old and fat together” with their longtime best friends Beth and Tom. One problem. Beth and Tom drop a bombshell: they are getting divorced. The four are left to re-examine friendship, loyalty and marriage through laughter and confessions in this heartbreaking and witty play.
