Auditions for WHEN JACK MET JILL
CALL FOR ACTORS
The Bellingham Theatre Guild announces auditions for WHEN JACK MET JILL by Adam Szymkowicz, November 17th & 18th from 7pm-9pm at the BTG Lobby.
Directed by Suzanne Mackay, WHEN JACK MET JILL will be BTG’s entry into the AACTFest’23 National One-Act Play Competition, with local performances at the New Prospect Theatre January 12-15, 2023 and a single adjudicated performance between February 9th-12th, 2023 in Tacoma at the Washington State Community Theatre Association Kaleidoscope Festival. If chosen to advance, there could also be single performances in the Region IX Festival (McMinnville OR, March 17-18, 2023) and the National Festival (Louisville, KY, June 12-17, 2023).
There are roles for four actors, 2M 2W, with age ranges from 30s to 50s. As a requirement for the AACTFest’23 community theater competition, actors must certify in writing they are not members of Equity or SAG/AFTRA, and must be available for every leg of the competition’s journey. The audition will entail cold readings.
