LEND US YOUR EARS Reading Series Presents “Trying”
Joanna McClelland Glass’ “Trying” is the next of Bellingham Theatre Guild’s reading series, December 1, at 2 pm.
LEND US YOUR EARS, the reading series at the Bellingham Theatre Guild, continues its second season with Joanna McClelland Glass’ Trying on December 1st, at 2 pm.
The Pay-What-You-Will performance, directed by Sean Walbeck, follows the dynamic relationship of a great American statesmen and his final personal secretary as they tolerate each other to their surprising mutual benefit. Based on the playwright’s own past, this good-humored drama of trying times features local actors Ken Gunning, Kari Kelly, and Eliott Glasser. Trying contains some adult language and adult situations.
LEND US YOUR EARS (with the mission: Good Plays Read Well) produces matinee readings with local actors in front of the curtains, with general admission seating and the audience choosing what it wants to pay. No reservations necessary and any questions can be directed to Bellingham Theatre Guild Vice President of Production Sean Walbeck (sean@gigglewax.com, 360-647-9242).
Trying is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.
