By Dan Goggin
Directed by Michelle Kriz
June 14-30, 2019
Nunsense begins when the Little Sisters of Hoboken discover that their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, and they are in dire need of funds for the burials. The sisters decide that the best way to raise the money is to put on a variety show, so they take over the school auditorium, which is currently set up for the eighth grade production of “Grease.”

LEND US YOUR EARS presents: “Visiting Mr. Green”
LEND US YOUR EARS, the reading series at the Bellingham Theatre Guild, concludes its second season with Jeff Baron’s Visiting Mr. Green on June 22nd, at 2 pm. The performance is at the BTG playhouse at 1600 H St., Bellingham.
The Pay-What-You-Will performance, directed by Marla Bronstein, follows the weekly interactions of an elderly man and a corporate executive brought together by a car accident. A huge international and award-winning hit, this two-hander features local actors Leon Charbonneau, Kris Erickson, and Jeffrey Stiglitz.
LEND US YOUR EARS (with the mission: Good Plays Read Well) produces matinee readings with local actors in front of the curtains, with general admission seating and the audience choosing what it wants to pay. No reservations necessary.
Visiting Mr. Green is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Plays Service, Inc., New York.
