BTG is holding open auditions for Groundhog Day: The Musical, September 27 - 28, 2026, at 7:00 pm. Callbacks if needed will be September 29, 2026.
BTG is looking for actors ages 18-60+ to audition for Groundhog Day: The Musical to fill 20 roles. Be prepared to sing 60 seconds (or one verse and chorus) of a contemporary pop/rock Broadway song in front of the creative team. A dance call will be conducted once everybody has sung. Bring tap shoes if you have them; tap experience is a plus. All roles will dance or otherwise move; comfortability moving and dancing is a plus. Everybody brings clothes and shoes that are comfortable to move in. We are actively seeking talent of all races, ethnicities, and gender identities.

Jack pretends to be his brother "Earnest" while Algie invents an invalid friend named Burbury. Their deceptions become entangled when both men fall in love with Gwendolen and Cicely, leading to a series of comical misunderstandings, romantic entanglements, and a final resolution involving Lady Bracknell and a misplaced handbag.
