Shipwrecked! An Entertainment - The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (as Told by Himself) is about a real seafarer whose exploits held 19th-century London spellbound. This is a tale for audiences of all ages, and a celebration of story-telling using stagecraft the audience sees being performed. Auditions: The title character is a male, 40-65, who will be playing a range of ages from childhood to late middle-age / early old age. Flexibility and movement are essential, as is the ability to captivate as a storyteller. Two male actors and two female actors, 25-55, will play an riotous variety of parts comprising a range of ages, genders, nationalities and species! Again, flexibility and the ability to move, crawl, tote props large and small and make quick changes are key. The auditions will include cold readings from the script as well as improv exercises. Dress comfortably and come ready to move!

Music & Lyrics by Jerry Herman
Based on the play by Jean Poirer
Directed by Zoe Bronstein & Kathy Peacock Duncan

After twenty years of un-wedded bliss, Georges and Albin, two men partnered for better or worse, get a bit of both when Georges' son (fathered during a one-night fling) announces his impending marriage to the daughter of a bigoted, right-wing politician. Further complicating the situation is the “family business”: Albin and Georges run a drag nightclub in St. Tropez, where Albin is the star performer “Zaza.” Georges reluctantly agrees to masquerade as "normal" when he meets the family of the bride-to-be. But Albin has other plans, with hilarious results.
Adult subject matter, Sexually suggestive situations, Parental discretion advised.
